About Us

Sally Simon has been writing since she was in grade school. In college, she supported herself by ghostwriting papers for fellow students and for corporate executives. She graduated with twin degrees in English and Education, a Dean’s List scholar. Moving to Charlotte County, Florida, she became a columnist for the then Daily Herald-News (now the Charlotte Sun-Herald) and continued to ghostwrite. She married later in life to a man she describes as having been her soul mate.  Sally, a widow now, is fulfilling a lifelong dream of writing and publishing novels. She loves to hear from her readers.

Sally is also a professional editor, working with unpublished authors of all genres to polish their efforts and offer advice. Please feel free to contact Sally through the website for her fee schedule.

The author with legendary country singer Crystal Gayle.

"Music---writing it, singing it, playing it, enjoying it---is such a big part of my life and a recurring theme in my novels. I've seen Ms. Gayle in concert twice now---once at the old Memorial Auditorium in Punta Gorda; once (seen here) at the auditorium of North Port High School. She is so real and approachable. Always an honor and a joy to be with."
